ABOUT JON BEER

Jon designs and makes fine boxes and freestanding furniture from his workshop in the heart of the Cambridgeshire Fens. Scrupulous selection of the finest British and North American hardwoods and the use of traditional construction techniques merge to create striking contemporary pieces.

Contrast and decorative restraint allow the inherent beauty of the timbers used to become integral to the overall design. Jons’ pieces celebrate both the cabinetmakers art and the individual characteristics of the timbers used.
