Through my MA Design study  I am examining the use of waste or found materials in furniture design and construction. I will also be travelling to Nicaragua shortly to work for a furniture design business, training the makers in the workshop, amongst other things, hopefully including some travel. I aim to continue the study while i am there, and especially hope to discover some of the home-made artifacts, motivated through economic necessity, and examine them in context to our moral duties towards recycling.
